i have been told the Autolite's don't give any clue of melting, they just come apart. That beng said, I switched from 3933 to NGK 10's and my car actually picked up 1mph and a little e.t. and it actually got a little fatter.

Run the NGK's The autolites are harder material wise, gap them around 20 to 24. I would use c23 or sunoco NOS. I wouls even put an extra washer or 2 om\n the plugs it will get the plug outa chamber some.
