I used to run .025 when I had my msd 6 box. Then I just used the same when I switched to the digital 7. Now I have a MSD grid with a lot more Millijoules of power and I'm rethinking the spark plug gap. Please share your spark plug gap, static compression, how much boost and what ignition box. Thanks

Gap them .016-.018" and don't worry about it anymore. Wide gaps DO NOT make more power, only cause problems. I have a 44amp ProMag and still run .016". The Top Fuel guys only run .014" and make 10,000hp. What you see jumping the gap outside the chamber is not what is going on inside the chamber. Hope this helps.

Well I was thinking about increasing the gap to .028 to .030 so I guess you answered that theory. LOL Thanks
