A MLS multiple layer head gasket for a big block chevy opposed to 1017 felpro. I running aluminum heads with 12to1 compression , stock deck block . I've been seeing a lot of advertising for these gaskets and was just wondering , since the manufacturers are saying this eliminates block o-ringing and makes a better seal . I would like to know what you guys opinions are , thanks !

"Buttload" = Just a bit more than not quite enough.

For a clean 200 hit, the performance composition gaskets should be fine.

We've run north of 30psi and over 500hp worth of spray(sepreately of course) on the MLS gaskets and had no problems with them.

I switched over a couple years ago from the regular Felpro. Never had issues, but my motor guy said these was "better". Only thing better so far is the PRICE!!! Daaaayum! (double the cost of Felpro)

My motor is about like yours, nothing super special and no adders. I guess they are nice insurance(or just upgrade) but wonder sometimes.

Shit I had a 90 454ss truck and sprayed 200 on it stock over and over again for about 2 years every friday night test and tune at dallas. Big blocks will take a shit load of spray in stock form just tune that shit right.
