I hit this parked car in a parking lot where I was making a stop. I left my name and number and am waiting to hear from the owner of the car. It left a footlong scuff and don't really know if I should give the guy anything if he asks for something. What would you do if the car was taking up two spaces and it was a beater?

The other week someone who had all the room in the world to park behind me decided it was ok to pull in so close to the rear of my truck that I couldn't even walk between them sideways.
