around 15 hundredths more and they will be running right with the nitrous ProMods???
IMO, the tire stopped becoming a limiting factor a while ago. The problem is that most racers, series and tracks have spent the last decade thinking in terms of "drag radial, true 10.5, 10.5W, big tire", with all the power adders mixed together. Now so many cars and races are set up for that format it will be hard to change things. While I prefer 1/4 mile to 1/8 mile, I think ADRL's idea of separate classes by power adder may be the next direction for drag racing. If not that then some other idea needs to be tried, but tire and weight can no longer equalize things.b.g just proves that the tire aint much of a limiter any more. he gos under 1.00 in his 60s
Im gonna guess that if BG doesnt run in the 4.0s with his small block at the shakedown he will definitely run in the 4.0s when he puts the hemi in.around 15 hundredths more and they will be running right with the nitrous ProMods???
