why is my 434 so slow on motor. 13.8:1. 23* 11x heads they flow really good [email protected]. 243ext, super victor fully ported, pro systems 1100 dom,cam is 282,[email protected],.681,.660. ls109. It has a glide1.80, 9.5conv,4:11 gears,28x10.5 slick. car weighs 3250 w/me. best pass was 10.60 @128 on motor:smt089. It does have a speedtech diffuser plate which I have not used yet. I just feel it is a dud compared to other motors I have seen. How much can it pick-up on a 200 shot?

Just spray it!!!! If it's a purpose built nitrous motor and has a good nitrous converter in it.......it's going to be a slug N/A.


My car weighs 3242, 415 inch small block 1.69 planetary glide with a 4.30 out back. Runs 6.96 @ 106 1/8 mile n/a.....on a .082 jet plate system it runs 5.72 @ 121 to 122 mph. It's been 1.34 60 with a 275 radial.

LOL! My friends yates headed 427 would only go 10.20s on motor 6.50 in the 1/8th. he just sprayed it with a 200 shot it went 5.70 in the 1/8th shifting @ 6500rpm. when he stops pussying around it should go 5.50s.

That 9.5 inch converter is good with the spray but probably to tight on motor.

Those 4.11s dont help you, not to to mention the big converter which would be ideal for NITROUS but not all motor.

Spray it! 11.50 @ 124 on the motor. 8.86 @ 157 first full pass on the spray.
I was thinking the same thing. Just spray it before you do anything else.

Spray it! Our 406 would only run 6.40-6.50/10.20-10.40's on motor, sprayed it with 150 and it went 5.80's and 9.19/144 out the back!

more camshaft lift (.700-.750), more grear 4.56, more rpms, two stage sys 450hp total, and let her eat, should run low 5.40s in the 1/8 easy.

I was thinking of putting a 4:30 or 4:56 but Im afraid of running out of gear on the big end with the spray.

spray does not like gear, put a fogger on with a 28 pill and turn it loose or a 200 shot on a plate it will wake it up and that 60 foot should come around also

i had 4.11s at first in my 434ci+ 23 degree headed engine. i went to a 4.56 when i got a 9inch rearend and its begging for more spray.
