Just looking for more info on a sleeved 5.3 to 440ci.The more i see and read about these junkyard 5.3's the more i want one.

Whats your question? I have a lsx 440 but there is a big differance between a jy 5.3 and a 440.

ERL and others sleeve the 5.3 aluminum blocks out past 440 all of the time

There's nothing special about a 5.3 iron block, you can install MID sleeves just like any other LS block, to make 440ci. We've installed melling sleeves in LS iron blocks however if I recall only have .120" wall thickness, for cylinder repair only can go maybe +.060" bore size.
