Friend of mine runs a Musi 959 in 1/8th mile pro nitrous. Claims he was told not to run it 1/4 mile. He says the 903 will handle many 1/4 miles but the bigger engines are on a very short fuse past the 1/8th mile. Just hearsay, maybe since the NHRA will allow the 959 now they will build some aimed more at the 1/4. Probably pretty tough on such a big rotating assembly.

I love the nitrous cars, and I think anything that will allow them to be competitive is a good thing for the class. One of the best things about this class is the different cars and the different engine combinations.

Several guys have ran the 959" in the 1/4 with no issues. 1/8 vs 1/4 is a different rear gear, trans, nos set up.
