Hey all,

I've been running radials for so long, I need to find a baseline shock tune for slicks.

G-body car, stock type suspension, QA1 double adjustable rear shocks. N/A 582 bbc, 1.80 glide, 4.11 rear gear, 3250 lbs w/driver.

Tires are a Hoosier 18155 10.5 x 28 stiff sidewall slick on a 10" wide rim.

I could really use some input on where to start with the compression and rebound for the slicks.

thanks
Todd

Even if you don't run or tune the shocks I have, how about some generalities to where to set compression/rebound (i.e. soft, medium, firm, etc).

Also, what tuning procedures used during testing.

The ext is usually tighter to keep the seperation down, and not dead hook the bias tire, and lighter on the compression too closer to a 50/50 style shock
