Thats another purchase. I have an F2 in house. Besides looking for the weight break of running the F2 and small motor to get the weight break. If one Can make the 1500hp at the right weight then it might be interesting? 1500 hp at 2875lb one could be interesting???

Bruder went a 4.80 flat with an F1r at 3300 per x275 rules. They say that's an estimated 1500. I'd say 1500 is definitely possible with an F2. What kind of et's are needed?

yes. I have 2 of them. and they are for sale :p

a 430/440 F2R can blow 1500 out the water![/QUOTE]

It won't make more than 1600 SORRY............I would say most of the f1r combo's are making 1450 flywheel hp, they are just effectively getting the power to the ground and the hoosiers have helped in how fast they run. I would say in a perfect world a f2 is possible of a 4.65-8 on a killer pass. Junior has been 4.72-4..I would guess there is only a 100-150 hp difference f1r versus f2...

A f2 will NOT go 7'0s @ 2875 on 28*10's...

I talked to Urist in Valdosta he had to add 50lbs over NMRA. He went 4.71-74 all weekend with the F3A blower on his SC1 428. I know he went .62 on his 7.02 pass BG. He didn't go that fast in Valdosta on 28s i'm sure the track was a little sticky lol. It's amazing how close a simple F2 360 highport motor is vs something like Urist in the 1/8 mile. The drive power for an f3 must be significant??? You know a few F1Rs have been .80 or faster. Obviously the 1/4 mile opens the door for much faster times a good 1/2 second between F3 and F1.

Well I don't think a f2 has been 7.40's on 28*10's. Juniors car is on 315s and somebody can correct me if im wrong. The fastest f2 on slicks is in the 7.50's and most like is Andrew Demarco before his switch to turbo..I've been a .61 back in 07. Urist has been 4.62 on 28 tens and I dont know of many cars if any that have been below a 4.80flat with a f2 on slicks. No WAY IN HELL A F2 will go 205 on 28's NO way it will go 195 on 28's. unless its 2600lbs. The f3a 121 blower is a 1900-2000hp blower. A good 300-400 better than a f2.

I believe Urist was running 1.11 sixty foots on 28s. He probably never been on a track that sticky where you have to poor the coals to it on slicks. He tried once and he left hard on them 28s i was like WTF then he had to let out. I didn't think a 28 could run that hard LOL. You're not going to do that on a 275 every pass! Fastest i've heard a 275 run is 1.13 from a local guy in my area. Radial might mph faster but when you factor the 60 ft times it's just not going any faster than a 28 least not yet. Dan if you had your 60ft down to 1.11 at a lighter weight (leaning on it) with a 3 speed you would go 70s easy with an f2 on 28s. Junior's 60ft on that 7.32 pass was mid 1.20s (i think) it's possible in a perfect world to get in the 60s maybe with an F2 would be interesting if you could do it.

Well im going to try todo what I can do. I think it will be fast @ 2800lbs and my car can go 2800 with power windows. I could get it 2750 with carbon doors maybe lightet....

Urist has really been 1.11 60ft? Dammmmmmm

Yea I figured either run it or sell it. It won't be competitive for SSO, but f1r, 275's and weight where ever I want it and it will be very competitive in x275;) I am going to sort it out on 28's first as the car is set up for them and the motor is not much different than the 360 motor. Well I hope, plus with the gear drive and other changes to the f2 since I quit running should allow me to get after it and not worry about it breaking....
Btw I have never made a chassis adj to this car since it rolled out of Mark's shop in 05. The only thing ive ever done is tighten the shocks up on it @ huntsville when it wheelstanded bad. Never touched the ladder bar placement, we have never scaled the car. We rolled it out of Mark's shop and took it to Atlanta FFW and went right down Broadway and 7.81 second pass in car. 1st pass went 5.22 and coulda took it out the back but Summers wanted some data being we'd never ran it. There is alot left in the car and we never made a change to the tune up from 05-07 either. Car rolled right down the track off the Fast map. Im pretty stoked to get it back out and with some help I think we can make it rock. We will see.

Thanks guys for all of the feed back on this. Fist let just say I'm not looking to run 7'0s just looking to go out and compete with the SSO went they come to the local track. But Don I do have a question for you. When both you and Junior would run low/ mid 7's with the F2 weren't you at 3250 lb or heaver? I know I'm making close to the same hp with almost 400lb less weight. I could possiably see a 7'40s maybe a 30?
