Anyone ever compare the Cloyes Quick adjust 9-3710 set to the SA Gear 78710 set?
The Cloyes is no longer available but came with an iwis chain and the only SA Gear set I've seen came with a rolon gear.
I like the Cloyes quick adjust but it seems they are all out of the pipeline.

You can get a IWIS chain from SA. Mine originally came with a DID chain, which isn't available anymore.

When I needed to replace the chain, Ford Strokers had SA drop ship a IWIS chain.

Any SA dealer should be able to order it with whichever chain you want. But I've heard that the Rolon chain is a quality piece.

Due to past problems with SA Gear products, I'm not a fan of anything with their name on it. For example, small block Chevy true roller, teeth breaking off cam gear and yes, alignment was checked. This happened multiple times. 4.7L Chrysler, stock rebuild, chain stretched so bad cam jumped a tooth in less than 20,000 miles. In this case, buy cheap, get cheap. JMO
