1- 5lb hamburger

2- 8 oz can sauerkraut

2- Frozen bread dough

Note: Add small slice of cheese in each if desired

1. Brown hamburger and drain

2. Drain sauerkraut and add to hamburger and mix well.

3. Allow frozen bread to thaw

4. Slice a med thick piece from the bread dough. Roll or pat ot to the size of a small saucer or 5” round

5. Place aprox ½ to ¾ cup of meat on the dough. Roll the dough up long ways and then tuck ends It should be a small package around 3 1/2” long and several inches wide. It will be rectangle in shape. Like a small hand size loaf of bread.

6. Place them on a lightly greased pan with the wrapped side down

7. Place in oven at 350* until golden brown. Give them a light coat of butter while warm.

Note Mom’s: These are great to make up and the freeze and reheat in microwave. They make great snakes . Don’t tell anyone the sauerkraut is in there and they will never know.
