looking to get a th400 and it is offered in a rollerized uprade for 300 is it worth it. It is a 3500lb car 383 700-750 hp with 175 shot of nitrous. Not a street car 70 passes a year bracket race a 7.0 class car runs a 6.85 with th350 that slips in third.

Its usually offered with the build as it is a race transmission. Not all locations but areas that are needed

We upcharge for additional rollerizing. All builds include rollerizing between the output and case and the forward hub to direct drum. The additional rollerizing we do is between the planets, between the pump and forward drum, and adding a bearing in the center support.

Is it necessary? no. Is it useful, yes. The additional cost is primarily for the labor, it can be time consuming to machine the parts and set the end play front and back of the center support. $300.00 is reasonable for that upgrade.
