I am putting a small base roller cam in a sbc. Do I need to run a special lifter with this cam or will any lifter work?
I saw that Comp cam offers a lifter. But they are the only ones that I saw.

Just make sure its tall enough not to bottom on the top of lifter bore and the oil holes line up

^^^^^ What Jeff said, usually the lifters need to be about .300 taller when you go to a small base circle in a SBC

If its an aftermarket block, you'll prob need the tall ones. My little m had to have the .300 taller ones to clear. I run crower hippo offsets in mine (really nice lifter).
