Awww bullshit!

The only time a harness gets used in a "race car" is when the driver straps himself in to race. The rest of the time the harness lays on the seat.

As opposed to a daily driver where a harness is used every time the key in the ignition is turned. So how can a harness in a race car be only 1/2 as good as new 2 years down the road when a daily driver harness goes decades?

We all know what pricks the Government can be when it comes to consumer safety. If harness webbing was only 1/2 as good 2 years down the road per Sfi, don't you think the Government would mandate harness be scrapped in less time?

They don't because it's another bullshit Sfi/NHRA/IHRA money grab excuse. RJS Safety Equipment- Be Carefulbackrooms game
The belt must be under 8 years old because the tags last 2 years. SFI rules require you to buy a new belt after three re-webs.
