Doubtful anyone here knew Billy Barrett , he was a super hard core racer ..few here could match his dedication to the sport

Lot's of things change thru the years but, one thing ..every weekend he was racing

When I was just little kid, he had 1958 Ford 312/ 4 speed
drove it to and from the track

He moved into a Fairlane in the early 70's 2 door sedan

One weekend he locked up a wheel and went for a ride

Bunch of racers gave him some funds and helped him out, next weekend he was back with a hardtop BBF -4speed

He ran the piss out of that old Ford, good dude, slept on the ground for years

later on he had a slide in camper thing mounted on a old trailer

RIP Willy B ..it was an honor to know you !

Wow... I grew up watching him race at Thunder Valley Dragway in Marion, SD. That car is a piece of history!
