I got a 7AL3 with 2 kits I'm using a digi-set timer to activate the second kit. When I activate the second kit it turns the first one off.
The problem i'm having is when I use my clean out button on the second stage it want retart the timing..The clean out works fine on the first stage.

But when I check it going threw the timer it will retart. So why it want retart using the clean out button?

It really depends how you've got it wired, but if it doesn't retard when purging it's no big deal. It won't hurt anything while there's no load on it, just make sure it pulls timing when activated through the digi-set. But, if you want to retard tell us how its currently wired.

I the retart wire landed on a terminal block with the clean out wire and the wire off the timer.

7al3 retard works when the ground is removed from a given retard terminal

The ground is removed through activation of solenoids.Your retard wires should be connected to your solenoids then thay activate whenever thay are energized.Bypass your timer and the retard will work whenever you purge it.
