I'm building a Ls solid roller motor with PI/Mast heads. When I measered the spring install height it was 1.905 and I need to be at least 1.990 with my cam. I found a set of Crower titanium retainers part number 86067D-16 that would bring up the installed height were it needs to be. Has anyone used this retainer and spring combo? Would the Crower retainers work with the PAC 1225 springs?

I'm using Crower 1.8 stainless shaft rockers. Valve train geometry seems damn good. My problem is my solid roller cam is .800 lift so I need a minimum installed height of 1.950 to 1.990 depending on the valve spring and retainer combo. Today I found a better combo, PAC 1224 valve springs and manley 23648-16 +.100 retainers, which should give me the desired installed height and spring pressure. I was warned to have at least 250/750 seat pressure minimum and 275/800 was more desirable with an aggressive solid roller.
