Fellas, anyone had a problem with a Strange aluminum center section having the pinion support bolts rip all the threads out of the case? I believe these are all 3/8-24 heli-coils in there. Had this happen the other night on the third run of this gearset. No noise or problem on previous two runs. Been running this rear set up for 3 years now with nothing like this happenening before. The bolts thread in at least 3/4 of an inch, with loctite and lockwashers. Car has about 1040hp weighs 3300 w/driver.

Wow. Probably time for a 10 bolt pinion support like an Ultra case or Moser / MW bolt thru case. The standard Strange aluminum case is probably not strong enough for that HP and weight anyway.
