not to sound like a jackass but the new corvettes do have muffler bearings. the baffles are on a shaft that go thru the bearings. crazy!

They are telling me I might have ballooned my converter too, I can't see how this is possible. Here are some of the specs. They extra tack welds on the stator fins should have held this together.
Submerged arc welds
* New turbine hub
* Custom-machined stator
* New pilot
* New impeller hub
* Extra tack weld on the stator fins
