I'm currently adjusting my idle with the throttle blade. (4" throttle body on a 145 CI motor) I run methanol, and when it is cold it will not idle. I've fixed that by installing a slide valve that I manually open to raise the idle. I'd like to install a idle control motor, but I know the stock Nissan unit won't flow enough. Does anyone know of a good billet block that can be plumbed remote and uses a cheap motor? So far I've found the unit sold by Haltech. I run a Haltech EMS.

Install a idle up solinoid to the throttle body and turn it on when the engine is cold and turn it off when the engine warms up. Something like this hooked to a small bracket just to kick the throttle blade linkage open further to help it idle.

Another thought is you could hook it to a thermostatic switch that turned it off and on automaticly and you wouldn't even have to F with it.
