im in the middle of putting caltracs on my 95 silverado and noticed that the rear shackles have knurls on them so when they are tight they dont move freely. should i loosen them up a little so theres plenty easy of movement?
truck will be street driven, hardly and track use. ~700hp.

On my S10 I tightened them with the suspension hanging, then set the truck down. Figured maybe an added bit of spring preload? - I had thought about grinding them or going with sliders, but being mostly street driven I didn't want any squeeks/rattles, and didn't figure I'd think to grease them often enough.
