I had a shop set my new gear up and posi unit gm 10 bolt i got it home i bolted up than over night the fluid was leaking from the pion seal or somewhere by the front all i did was put fluid in it and it leak its a new seal everythings new in side any ideas thanks

Check the vent to start, if it is blocked then that will cause the seal to leak. Do you know which of the 3 10 bolt GM axles you have? 7.5 - 8.2 - 8.5?

Scott its the 8.2 10 bolt somebody told me to take the nut out on the pinon and put silicone but that didnt help need help was going to the track on sunday hopping to get it fixed by then thanks

You put the silicone on the splines of the yoke and on the threads of the pinion.

So it's not the seal leaking, it's the addded slop in the two splines. I rarely come across it but it does happen. Make sure not to over tighten the pinion nut, mark it and put it back to where it was.
