Curious on everyone’s opinion on rake on a full tube chassis car. Was told 1 inch of rake is good for the car to stay planted to the ground better but I always thought a level chassis transfers the weight better any thoughts? I’m torn between the two. And have to make a decision. Car is a short wheel base bbc twin turbo.

I think a properly set up suspension will work regardless of rake/no rake. At that point, the aesthetics of a 1" rake wiins imo.

If it is a chassis car being built, the chassis can be level, with the body hung on the 1" rake, so the chassis is correct, and you have the look you want.
