He has been 3.82 with 88s at 3060 pounds
not in NMCA....but there is no weight break in RvsW for 88's only in NMCA...no one has been running 88's at Ducks races...not even the SB's...lol....maybe Adkins still has 88's but you need to go down a class to see 88's spinning.

This thread can go on & on with the "What If" debates....the only real way to know is have everyone race at same event, same tire with same prep. I myself as a huge fan of Outlaw 10.5 would love to see the top RVW teams attend a few 10.5 events, pass tech, have legal 10.5 power and of course do it on 10.5W. Not sure we will ever see this because I'm told all the top RVW teams are Scared :p:smt102:smt071:smt033:smt033

I don't think Marty went through any motors at NM...I don't think its a huge money operation by any means. Just a couple smart hard working guys and one heck of a racer and hotrod.

agreed....end of thread...i would love to see no radials in 10.5 if there were enough cars for this reason...i will lend rims and rubber...:D but like Dave said never going to happen as most would rather go faster than slower when spending money on their race operation

What the fuck are you talking about?
Is that front end legal for outlaw 10.5?

Whats the weather like near you today? wheres your meteorologist degree from?

and no, I don't have it out for anyone. I find it curious how bad ass these radial guys are, and how everyone loves the radial guys are but they avoid 10.5 races, big money races like the plague.

Food for thought.. Nova Joe put radials on an X Outlaw 10.5 car, used a tuner who never even seen a radial tire and won our event using a radial, went to GA and went to the finals and went back to GA in Feb and won..

He put 10.5s on using the same tuner and struggled with getting the car down pass after pass..

Simple fact is anyone can go fast on a radial.. takes pure talent to do it on a 10.5...

315 radial = no talent
10.5w = badass mother phuckers

Take all the "special" prep & 500 gallons of glue away & let's see how they do. If it's a superior tire, why not run it on the same prep as everyone else gets on slick tires? What am I missing? :rolleyes:

4.12 @ 188 the first run ever on 10.5's, and 1.04 4.00 @ 194 by the fourth run, but unfortunately fought transmission issues all through the next 2 races. Definitely not easy, definitely not as fast as the radial, but I think we could have made some noise

I would think it would be close to running NMCA events and we have run a good number of 3.9x passes and 4.00s all day. If you look at the fast 10.5 passes it seems they stick the tire like a radial anyhow. But I am just a no talent radial tuner haha, so what do I know.
