I have s/s and comp cars in the 7s with radial on back and bias on frt.

just by the front mt tires and be done with it. they are light also. not the sportsman tires.

The sportsman does not have the speed rating, and will also drag water to the starting line.

this matters to me but my front runner plus my 15x3.5 champion rim weigh in under 20lbs.

I haven't had a problem with either. I go 164 in a 3500lb Camaro. I have run bias ply mickeys and also just a vw radial on a 4" wheel with no issues (slicks on the back). I have had a problem with a wide radial up front at over 100mph with slicks in the back on my other car. No problem with radials in the back though.
