What do you run Bias or radial front runners?

If bias, how fast & how squirelly do they get?

I have s/s and comp cars in the 7s with radial on back and bias on frt.

Sportsmans are almost two times the weight of the front runners.

The sportsman does not have the speed rating, and will also drag water to the starting line.

this matters to me but my front runner plus my 15x3.5 champion rim weigh in under 20lbs.

I think the sportsman S/R radial is the best looking tire out there, plus if you street drive it at all, it handles way better then a ET front.

I haven't had a problem with either. I go 164 in a 3500lb Camaro. I have run bias ply mickeys and also just a vw radial on a 4" wheel with no issues (slicks on the back). I have had a problem with a wide radial up front at over 100mph with slicks in the back on my other car. No problem with radials in the back though.

What if it is a true street car. You have to run dot tires for that class. Then what is the lightest radial tire for the front?
