I heard yesterday that long time Byron Dragway racer Bill Bretz passed away. The wake will be Friday in the Chicago suburbs, at Cumberland Funeral Home near Cumberland and Lawrence. Bill was a long time racing partner of Bill Lucky.

Dam the Pie Pan, I haven't heard that name in a while. Peterson and Cicero Ave. We used to go up there once in a while. It was a cruise from our area. We hung around Tops in Berwyn and Skips.
