bought a 95 mustang 3.8L yesterday and the guy said its got a bad sensor...the check engine light is on, it will start but will not rev...headers glow after about 7 mins of running...did notice that the crank pulley looks like its bent. could that effect sensor operation? and keep it from reving just would like some iput as to where to start looking for problem solution...thanks guys

Drop the h pipe from the headers and run it and see if it revs ...them cars are also prone to head gasket failure

just ask the car, its telling you already. READ THE CODE
thanks guys thats the same thing i was thinking just wanted a second opinion SINCE I DIDNT HAVE MY OBD1 SCANNER WITH ME this is a16 year old first project and he is learning the bullet is the best place to get info. if you are in a hurry, power to the bullet.:p
