I'm looking for advise (don't go there Monty!). Father's Day is coming &
I want to buy a weather station for the track. Was hoping to keep
it under $300, but get as many usable features as possible.
I was wondering what brand some of you have?

I have a PerformAire II Weather Analyzer with ET Prediction. It runs $399.99 at Jegs.

Batteries are always dying on the thing but overall its a pretty good unit. The most positive feedback is on the Computech RaceAir Weather Analyzer which runs $349.99 at Jegs.

The Computech RaceAir Pro runs $449.99 and is probably the best unit. I know you wanna keep it under $300.00 but you're gonna have to work some overtime :-D Your husband only deserves the best and you can show him how much he means to you by buying him the best... :-D

Thanks Chris. I took a look at it. I've never heard of Kestrel, but with all of the features it has, it's definitely worth looking into.

I knew I could make her feel guilty!! :-D I'm gonna have to use your picture as my avatar once again.. But then again all the guys would be PMing and E-mailin' ya!! :D The one I have works great. You just need a case of batteries to keep it going.. It would be a good idea to buy a 9v adaptor if you get that one.. You can get it at Radio Shack pretty cheap (maybe $10).. If you want to give Jay Parlette a call at Computech and see if you can work some type of deal out with him. He is a great guy to deal with.. Tell him I sent ya and believe it or not it will actually help.. LOL seriously give him a call and see..

Thanks for all of your help Monty and Chris. Really! But it looks like I'm buying a fuel cell instead....(don't ask).
I'll plan on getting the weather station for x-mas.
