how big of a big block and what et is your goal????

I'm starting over from scratch, so I haven't built the motor yet. Would more cubes make it easier to make the power or would the smaller stroke be better? I was thinking a 540 or 605, but if I'm wrong I will build whatever is proven to work.

7's would be great but I would be perfectly content with mid to low 8's.
