I was just wondering if anybody has had any good luck with probe pistons.I am building a sbc 350 to put in a street strip awd s10 blazer & I am wanting to spray 150-200 shot.Would it be ok to use probe pistons? Opinions please.

Yes you will be fine with Probe pistons,,,,,,Shoot Mark O'Neal a PM he is the head MFIC at Probe and is a very active member on here,

Butch has a bunch of pictures of probe pistons. But I am sure that he hasn't run any of them yet.....;)

I have a cheaper set of Probe's in my wifes lil 383 and it does just fine.

Thanks guys,Ive heard some bad things about probe pistons so I thought I would get on here and ask about them before I made my mind about them.

I have run Probe pistons for about 5 years now. I have sprayed a 250 shot on them before and they have lived. I have had them to 7800rpm consitantly and as high as 8500rpm. They are the SRS pistons and were in a 355 with 6" rods. Last year a rod bolt let go and killed 2 of them, the rest of them are still in very very good shape and I plan on reusing them.
