Tom I wonder if they pay the IHRA Pro Stock guys like that?

Jimmy I work in the midst of the grand corporations of the auto industry. I have for 15 years now. They care little for the customer, and even less for their vendors/suppliers. That's the world we live in.

Well thump my chest...

Back to the original topic, this race can happen, there is a neutral track close (a nice track at that) that has a program already geared for fast street cars on Friday night.

Name the classes and set up the challange.

If 120 miles from home is what you call close then YES that is my driving reason behind this. There are 3 other dragstrips less than 50 miles from my house so I guess in my self-serving ways I should have chose the one that is 3 miles from my house instead of the one 120 miles away?

You can leave your money with me Jimmy I'll make sure the winner(s) gets it.

Yeah their Outlaw 10.5 race, Pro Street Outlaw and Heavy Street class that pais out $10,000 was very impressive with 2500 spectators.. Milan's $1000 race is almost as good specator wise..

Chris......Go to car counts.......Then work backwards for 7 years......Chris you need to pull your Emotions out of this and use your head (I'm not trashing any Series here dude!) its fact....less people are coming Racers/Fans..........I spoke to alot of "Check Writers" Yesterday.....I'm right on.......Thats from 34 people in the Business......NOT RACERS ....The People that Support you!!!....The Well is drying up.......More Races are not in the best interest of our Sponsors.......More Attendance is.......So bash me if you want.....I got my answer LOUD and Clear Yesterday.......From the people that count!!!

I'm not bashing Jimmy that's not my style!

I'm just seeing a pattern here of people putting the dis'n on us racers for the failure of organizations success. And i disagree. I also don't believe it's the racers fault for low car counts. These racers EXIST Jimmy. I believe MOST of them still want to race but the ENTIRE SETUP of these org's has been wrong from the get go.

MUCH of it has to do with Money, and by money I mean WINNINGS. It's setup all wrong.

Also, again, not bashing, but there were how many Super Modified racers that would be racing this weekend??? That will not be racing this weekend???

If you want to talk about the REAL problem, lets do it. But so far I haven't found anyone interested in the REAL problem. They just want to beat a dead horse.

Jimmy,

I think a track like Milan proves you wrong that the "check writers" are what drives this sport, look at the crowds and the excitement there....and all this for $1000.00??? The racers and the fans are the people who count, not the Check Writers.
