You go to any region of this fine country of ours and you'll find someone who'll say they started it. To me it was some Chicago boys. Mainly a Guy buy the name of Scott Brown. His car was featured in Car Craft (Jon Asher) It was a back halved '69 Camaro with a BBC lenco and hidden N2o system that ran 9's thru the mufflers. I'm thinkin' 1978 some time.

Didn't Danny Scott start the Pro Street thing in Street Car racing? Didn't he show up in Memphis with tube chassis, Lenco trans, on a street driven car? Everybody said "WTF"!?!!?

I thought that is when they split Super Street and Pro Street apart? Does anybody remember?
