Give them time....They are racing against teams with YEARS of development work and it takes more then one year to catch up...

Everybody seems to think you just get the parts and build a pro stock engine,well.... I did it in '96 and it took three years just to get all the parts and then try to make everything work together.Yes,it is easyier now with all the cnc stuff and rules about what rods, pistons, valves and other things must weigh but it's still a LONG uphill battle to get things working right.

I personally think they are at about where they should be.They have qualifyed a few times and learn alot each time out. Everytime they learn something they might be making wholesale changes to thier programs and sometimes it's like starting over.

What sucks is Morgan went a 6.695 on Friday and it doesn't count. He would be qualified at 13th if NHRA still used the old format. I hope he improves some soon.

I am not a Ford guy, but I really do want to see them qualify. The Morgan thing has got me baffled. Cunningham's team has blown up some stuff on the dyno and that set them back, so that I understand. It would be nice to see more variety and it is good for the class. Back to the shop and burn the midnight oil.

I saw more hats flying off of peoples heads than T-shirts shot into the stands by the Geico t-shirt shooter:) When Morgan figures it out, watch out.

looks like Morgan can make some power but can't plant it,

I really hope they come around, I get tired of seeing the GXP's go down the track,
