Love her, hate her. Think she is too religious or a hypocrite. Take her or leave her ... whatever your position is there's no way that you can argue that the girl can't drive. She's one of the best behind the wheel of a Pro Stock car and when the pressure is high she shines. Personally, I don't have any issues with her and would hire her to wheel any door car that I owned no questions asked.

Right now that team has the most power and the best driver in pro stock. There are several that are close but dont have the consistency at the drivers seat to contend for a championship against Erica. Anderson is getting old and has a lot on his plate to try to keep that team racing. Butner has not done nearly as well with Elite as he did with Anderson. Loosing Line was a big hit to Anderson. Pro Stock has become a class where you have to be fast and and also be great behind the wheel.

I would agree with that. A good driver can't do much if you don't have the horsepower.

If Anderson was driving for Elite, would the results be the same or would Erica still win her share?
KB makes as much power as Elite. I'm just saying if Erica didn't have a great engine program she'd still be one of the great Drivers (reaction time and shifting), but a lot of people try to say she is the greatest pro stock racer of all time. That is simply not true. Back in 1990 when a lot of the drivers were also the tuners/innovators, she'd be a no body. Her driving ability in current pro stock trim is definitely top 10.

Imo, best driver has nothing to do with the best power/team behind her. She consistently leaves on everyone she faces. Look at her times posted above, vs the much younger kid in the other lane. She flat out wins races, and most of them are won on the starting line. Imo.......

Erica gets the best that Elite has for engines. You can see that Bo Butner is not doing nearly as well as he did with the KB Racing equipment that he had. All of Andersons customers get top notch engines and typically run very close to what his car runs. She is for sure the best driver in the class right now. I bet she is happy that kid went to NASCAR. He was a terror on the bulb and his car was fast

Aren't there a bunch of other cars running Elite power? If its all Elite power winning her races, why aren't they winning like EE?

I think Dave Conolly has had much to do with her driving.
Being the best Driver wouldn't matter if she didn't have horsepower from Elite. The best driver can leave on everyone all they want, but if they don't have the power to back it up, it doesn't matter. WJ drove around people for MANY years before others caught up to his Horsepower.

You mean back in the 90's when WJ was winning a ton but couldn't cut a light to save his life?
As with all competitive sports, Pro Stock has evolved. Fields are getting tighter, especially with all of the engine leasing and tech sharing that is now common.
To win consistently you need people specialized at their particular task and as far as drivers go, she's at the top of the game right now.
Last one to match her skill wise was probably that prick Grey kid from a few years ago. Or maybe even Jeggy before he started to go red all of the time.

It means exactly what it says. She might be the best DRIVER in pro stock history.
But again if she didn't have a great engine program it would do no good. If she was 000 on the tree every time, but .05-.10 off pace, similar to Cuadras right now, she'd never win a round.
