The quick 8 were Brian Decker, Jason Hamstra, Tom Stringer, Stephan Stringer, Patrick Hunley, a blown blue '63 Vette, a red blown '53 Vette and a dark red nitrous '53 Vette.

Decker was number one, ran 4.17 an 4.16 (or 4.16 an 4.15, I don't remember).

The final was Hamstra and Stephan Stringer, Hamstra had to pedal a couple times and Stringer went around him.

I'm working on my pictures and on-board videos. Hope to have them up later today.

There were cars from here in town (Louisville area), up in Indiana (Personnet and I think Hamstra?) and one from Mississippi. There were a few "true Pro Mod" cars and several Top Sportsman cars. One of the Pro Mod guys told a friend of mine that he several people he talked to weren't bringing their 4.20 cars for fear of not qualifying; the bump was a 4.34.

There is already talk of having another later this year.

I don't know, I heard talk of possibly doing it again later in the year. I think a 16 car field would bring out more cars. There were a ton of people there - the bleachers were packed and there were people with EZ-ups all down the far side of the track. It was a good show and a great crowd despite the heat.
