92 town car, where the wires go into the tranny, there is a 2 wire jumper, with a little ceramic box on the end i know its not stick but i do not know what it is, all it says on it is pressure riser....... any idea??? anyone???????

The pressure riser modified the electrical signal going to the PCM and EPC solenoid in the trans, altering / raising the line pressure in the unit..
3 models were available PR 204 = Standard......PR207 = Heavy duty.....PR208 = Heavy Duty Plus...
If the car is stock it may have been installed because of a low line pressure...If its a hot rod than they put it on to get firmer shifts. The model number may still be visible ....
