I bought a aluminum drum and it has a thrust bearing in the face that goes against the pump and my pump is machined for a bearing too can i run these two bearings against each other? Also do i run teflon sealing rings with this or do the use something else? The drum has a ceramic suface what type of band do you run i have a alto red hope that will work. Thanks for any help

Red band will be fine, just don't set it too tight. Teflon rings will eventually wear through the ceramic but its the only ring to run. You can install the factory washer as a spacer or use a torrington washer (.030" increments) in place of the bearing that was in place before. I don't really see a problem using a bearing on a bearing if that ends up being the correct stack height and gives you proper endplay.
