Does anyone make a convertor/pilot bushing for a SBF/powerglide when using a 1/4'' midplate? I have several laying around that work without a midplate but I haven't been able to find one that's a 1/4" longer for use with a midplate? I will send the convertor off to have the drive cover changed to accommodate the midplate thickness if that is my only option, but i'd rather not since I will be having a custom convertor built before long anyhow. Thanks

Sounds like you need to talk to a machine shop with some skills.

I am considering that, I am currently at work looking for a piece of stock the correct size, if I can find some, i'll chuck it up in my lathe and see what I can come up with.

Both my TSI and ATI converters have screw on pilots. I just did a quick test fit then called and ordered one with the extra length I needed.
