I had a buddy help me with putting the tranny back together after it broke the case. All the internal parts looked good. It has a pro brake. Get it back together and car has no reverse and t-brake doesn't work. Call him and it turns out we forgot to put in the block off plate on the tranny. So I put that in and I have reverse and t-brake. But it is slow to engage and it feels like it is slipping bad in reverse. When we assembled it we had to remove a steel in the reverse clutch to get the right clearance. low and high gear work fine. My buddy thinks the reverse piston didn't seat and that is why we had the extra steel. I would like a second opinion, will I hurt anything running it tomorrw? This is a footbrake car so I don't need the t-brake, just have to back up easy.
