I think MS is around 9.6 or so.
Which realistically is only up a couple percent.....the first 7% never plan on getting a job anyway. They are the ones using their "EBT" card in the grocery store and then getting in their Escalade in the parking lot. LOL

since you covered the state, in our county, Saint Lucie, we had 13.3% in May... We were as low as 3.4% just 3 years ago, talk about a town that went in the shitter!!! 3 years ago in our town guys in the construction business had money burning holes in their pockets, they were coming in having all kinds of shit built, those guys are GONE!

Little more info.. Florida is #4 in the nation for foreclosures. Our county is one of the highest in the state.

Like 12% but they said on the news the other day that it is more like 20% because so many people have now lost un-employment and have given up on trying to find a job..... I know people that have....

They say that a more accurate number is to add another 10% to the given percentage...........

Ours is so high do to the RV plant and other GM plant's shuting down.

Now I've seen this "EBT" listed on the all of these card machines, but never new what it was (and still don't). Is it an unemployment thing, a welfare thing or what?

Its government assistance......FOOD STAMPS. Now instead of giving you a physical food stamp, they just give you a debit card to buy all your groceries. Around here you can usually tell which people are using that kind of card. Instead of sandwich meat and ramen noodles they have steaks and pork chops. LOL

Ah gotcha, and I certainly don't doubt it for a minute. I'm pretty sure that it's like that everywhere with people trying to take advantage of "the system". :-damnit
