Its almost done. 3 years in the making. PK race and rods (Ohio) started on a rusted out pos. Owner, who is a good friend, drove this 289 two barrel into the shop under its own power, barely. It was his mom and dads, who are both gone. The middle of the car had a big dip in it as the frame was gone. Three years later its a brand new 68 convertible with a ATK 347 Ford stroker @ 460/450 . The underneath and interior are beautiful as the top side, It sounds incredible with the nice camshaft included in the strokers package.

Cool! Somebody gave up on their project?
Yeah. He was building it for his ex wife. After the divorce, it just sat around for years.

It's got all new metal already done, and the bodywork is about 90% finished. The jambs are already painted, as well as the entire underside and engine bay.

It's pretty cool

Good looking car! Cougars sure seemed to disappear. Makes them really cool now when you see one. Love it.

Just realized what I posted is also true of Cougar/Mountain Lions! Fitting that they are so elusive.
Thanks man plan is a twin turbo drag week ride.
