I have some TRW forged pistons from my 468 BBC (made back in the early 90's).

They have seen a 300 shot and look fine, should I run them or get something newer and better.

They are the raised dome pistons and I am going to jump the compression up from 10.5 to at least maybe 13. Also stroking the motor and going forged eagle crank and H beams.

Looking for lat least 650 or so hp on the motor and hit with a 200 shot a lot and sometimes a 300.

Thanks

If you need help I can set you up with a complete 496 Eagle rotating kit. My piston would be 13:1 and should handle 300hp easily.

Ill let you know Nelson.

I am just planning right now.

Car goes to the chassis shop in a few months, motor work after that.
