Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can give me the weight of a 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 ring pack on a 4.180 bore.
I have a set on the way but is being held up atm and would like to order some pistons.
Thanks

Someone will soon respond. I truly don’t know myself. Mark may be able to answer that. PM him maybe.

Haha,Ok the engines going in a street car, so ring thickness isn't an issue. And the engine is already balanced, just replacing pistons for lower compression.

Lower comp ratio piston could well be heavier. Example would be the crown that has a D shape dish that retains the quench pad.

For reference a Total Seal 4.180 bore set of AP Series - .9/.9/2mm rings weighs 21 grams.
