All it said was Canadians and Germans together in the photo
Maybe the others here that know more about modern stuff can answer that.

Those are F-104's, various colors between the user nations. Italy, Turkey, and others flew them into Ramstein AB when I was there - mid 80's. Interesting stories abut those guys. They generally came in a flight of four, only flight lead spoke English. You had to be ahead of the game to set them up for approach.
