Thinking about a .357 with 4" barrell and want to install some Hogue wood grips. Kind of like the smooth Kingwood style. Still researching guns. I do like the S&W model 686. This will be used for recreational shooting and additional home protection piece. ;)

I just bought a S&W 686 SSR which is from their Pro Series line of revolvers. It comes with the 4" barrel and factory wood grips which I really like. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but it's a really nice piece and feels very comfortable in my hand. Here's a few pics~

Here's my Kframe "13-3" with stock wood handle:



And here it is with a Hogue rubber grip (square butt conversion):



It really makes a big difference in feel. And it still conceals better than my XD9. :cool:

NOT a .357 a .38spl but here ya go
