I've run Phoenix tires for the last 7 seasons and have had real good luck with them. Won the championship last year in the stick shift group I race with.

Phoenix slicks are a good product. Formerly known as Firestone slicks.

I run radials on the comp car the best I've tried I've tried a lot too
We just bought a set off Crutchfield. Never had a set. Was tuning Fogles car down in Rockingham last fall and while changing tires I could not believe how much lighter they was than my Hoosiers. Three of us guys bought a set that day, and we live in Div 3, so none of us has made it out yet. He tells us they are still using that F9 compound that Firestone developed years ago. Can't find anything that works any better, keep going back to it. What was it that Firestone called it? White Dot # 8? Anyway, we will see.
