For my next build I want a stockish build. So my question is, could a cam be ground that sounds like stock but performs great? Combo will be ported stock intake (302 mustang) with edelbrock perfromer heads and a custom cam. Also will have a 175-200 shot on it. Stick shift car..thanks.

What kind of cam were you thinking of useing, HFT or SFT or HR or SR? But yes you can make a sleeper cam fairly easy.

id be using my custom hyd. roller cam... 113 212- 516 intake / .480" - 200 degree exhaust... its a small spec that is insanity for low to mid power , idles very good , will pass smog in some combos. advertised duration at .006" is only 260/262 degrees.

Idles very good as in damn-near stock? I don't want people thinking I have a killer...This would be good to 6500 rpms? Could I just go on your website and order this? Thanks

Yeah, I don't mind a little bump in my idle, I could just say I have 1.7 rockers...but the more stock sounding the better. Ill definitely give you a call..how much do your custom grinds run? I'm assuming in the 500-600$ range for a billet HR...
