Anyone have family/friends who harass, grill and bother you about carrying your concealed weapon?

I have a mother who yells at me anytime i carry and am not working. I also have a friend who argues with me about how stupid I am for carrying a gun, even to the point of name calling and fighting. No matter what I do or say these people do not stop harassing me or asking me if i'm carrying or not. Anyone have people who do this to them? and do you have any remedies for it? This has been going on for 3 months now.

It falls along the same lines as other things. Things that people do not understand always have ignorance toward it, or contempt.

Carrying is your choice not theirs so tell them to FUCK off in a plain and simple way. If you carry a firearm the right way, they never know that you are armed. My friends and family know that I have CCW permits that cover about 38 states. I carry everywhere the law allows. About CARRYING, Just don't argue with them, smile and walk away, it's not any of their business..... No one will harass you if you don't let them.

Police Protection is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves.
Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the
crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

The only "why" I wanna know, is "why" the hell are you telling them!? Not much point in a CCW if every damn body knows about it. My wife only knows that I'm carrying when I pull it off at the end of the night, and I'll be damned if I'm going to let anyone else know about it. The point of an Ace in the hole is for no one else to know about it.

I would have to say I have been thinking about carrying but,and I know I am going to get shit for this.It would be part time if wife and I were going on a road trip,or leaving work late. I am not looking for any kind of trouble and 9 times out of 10 I am walking away,but if it come to the point someone is threating family I will take a stand to protect them.
