Finally used our panini maker, awesome. I made way too much food and was unable to function afterwards.

Anyone have specific recipes or tips on what they do? I did try making one set with olive oil and one set with butter as the outside coating for the bread. I liked both, but the olive oil added more taste.

I was doing:
Italian bread
provolone, swiss cheese
one basil leaf
honey ham
thin slice tomatos
long pickle

Was very good, the original recipe called for caramelized onions not basil but I ran out of onions.

I'm wondering can I do one with red sauce? I think that would be wicked.
